I wish the counter went above 100 000. Also cool would be a mode that resets your score and level when you lose, so that there's a high score, that you can strive to improve.

Great QOL additions to the base concept and a very useful UI/interaction scheme to boot. I play this a lot, so thanks! The only thing I would change is for the selection box animation to either be continuous or settle on static, the pause on it somehow feels a bit distracting. But this is extremely minor. Otherwise this is the best version out there.
