A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Made in one month for 4MB Jam 2025 (theme: "Worms, Holes and Wormholes")
Size: 19 558 bytes

In 2142, an interstellar megacorp, Tapax Industries, discovered Pentieum-i7, a rare energy source buried beneath the toxic surface of 4MB-4269, a desolate exoplanet.

The catch? The mineral is guarded by Sillycrawlers, armored worm-like creatures that defend their territory.

You play as a debt-trapped contractor sent to 4MB-4269 under Tapax Industries' "Drill First, Ask Never" policy.

Your Job:

  • EXTERMINATE Sillycrawlers (each kill can deduct from your crippling debt)
  • DESTROY terrain with a plasma-charged grenade launcher
  • UNCOVER a mysterious energy signature deep underground, rumored to be a wormhole leading to layers of dimensions where Sillycrawlers progressively evolved into godlike beings

Tapax doesn’t care about the portal... Unless it’s profitable. Blow up enough worms, and you might just buy back your freedom, or die in a hail of molten chitin.

Good luck, and see you on the job.

Love the game, it's pretty fun. The fact that I can demolish the whole level is cathartic, it feeds my appetite for destruction. >:D

Some palettes can be hard on the eyes, maybe a choice with complementary color would be better, but it's not a real problem.

It's a fun game. Maybe a time limit for levels could make things more interesting.
