Blade's Honor
Blade's Honor is my submission for the Wowie Game Jam 3.0.
Experience the way of the samurai in this fast-paced reflex game!
Will you perish by your foe's blade? More importantly, will it be with honor?
NOTE: The web version has issues with input/sound latency on some browsers, so download the game if you can.
The theme of this jam is "Failure is progress". So I decided to add an honor mechanic that works like this: if you die with honor (aka by matching your enemy's move), you don't lose, and you advance to the next difficulty. And if you kill the enemy without dying (if you stab and he slashes), you lose an honor point. The stab (low) attack always wins if you're in a pinch.
When uploading the post-jam version, I overwrote the submission builds. Guess they're lost forever, I didn't make any local backups :/

Install instructions
Windows: Unzip and run the .exe
Linux: Unzip and run the binary
MacOS: Double-click the zip file to install, then run the Blade's Honor app
